Really impressed with this hotel. Great location for train station and the city centre. Room was modern and really clean. Great choice for breakfast and good quality. Staff were friendly and attentive. Have scored full as can't find anything to fault.
Good hotel, stayed one night, and had a meeting next day in one of the meeting rooms. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room was okay, quite spacious for a hotel, TV was in a weird position but huge (55"), room was clean. Noises from ventilation and heating were quite loud and you could here a lot from other rooms. Location is good but there's no car park had to do a bit of walking, not a big deal but it would be a huge plus to be able to have your car right there especially when there is the storm outside.
Stayed here with work (they paid so can't comment on price). Room was pretty good and breakfast was ok. Service was quick and efficient. Nice looking interior and easy to get to on foot from the train station.
We would really like to thank Robin Clarke on reception. We arrived extremely stressed, tired and worn out as the place we originally booked was a disaster and we were left in a position where we had no where to stay in a city we didn’t know. Robin was fantastic and arranged a room for us to stay which was price matched and added breakfast for us. He was kind and made us smile after the awful afternoon we had experienced before visiting Leonardo’s hotel. He was empathic and showed compassion towards us. The hotel was great at helping us arrange a taxi to our event! The food (pizza and cheesecake) were delicious. The room was clean and toiletries offered in the bathroom which was a nice touch! The room was warm and the beds were comfortable. I would like to have seen espresso martinis at the bar as I really wanted one on arrival but opted for a baby Guinness instead. I would 100% choose to stay at a Leonardo hotel again. Thank you for your amazing team!!!
The shower in room 714 was not very good. We were three guests and only two sets of towels provided. We ordered two Caesar Salads and waited over half an hour for the food. Some of the chicken was dry. The wait at the bar later in the evening was excessive. Not enough staff. Breakfast was excellent with a superb choice of food, both in buffet format and via order. The service in general was very good.
Big thanks to the team at Leonardo. From sorting an early check in for my wife and friends to get ready for her 40th with the prosecco. But it's easy when things go right, even more impressed with Neve and her team this morning when the shower didn't work they managed to get us a room almost opposite sorted so we didn't need to move but could still freshen up before we left. Breakfast was great as well, lots of choice and friendly staff.
We stayed here for a night whilst seeing Rock Orchestra at the arena. The hotel is such a great find! The staff make it, they have all been wonderful, friendly, easy going and just good at their jobs. This is everyone from the front desk to the waiting staff to the cleaner I even spoke to on the corridor. The staff were amazing. The hotel is clean, very clean, and tidy and love and welcoming, we felt at home as soon as we walked in. We had an executive double which was spotlessly clean and well presented, the bed was very comfortable, plenty of plug sockets for charges and everything you would want and need in a room. We had snacks and drinks in the afternoon and a meal in the evening and the service was excellent, the food amazing (the bourbon BBQ burger was amazing, my wife had the salmon and commented how wonderfully it was cooked. ) everything in the bar area was clean and tidy and well presented with a very good selection of drinks. We came back from the concert and enquired for late checkout which was entirely reasonable at £15 and we're more than happy to set it up! That is a massive win! The breakfast in the morning was brilliant. All exceptionally well cooked, huge variety and again the staff were just so efficient at cleaning and stocking it all despite it being super busy. Absolutely loved our staff, this is the second Leonardo hotel we have stayed at (been to Sheffield too) and loved both of them. Excellent work on consistency and just being a great hotel! I will be back!
A few times we have stayed here and blown away each time we stay. The staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Lovely clean room, lovely breakfast. Cannot fault a thing! Couldn't recommend enough.
